It was a quiet Tuesday evening when Mark’s wife, Claire, decided it was time to have a delicate, hushed conversation about their bedroom life. Trying to be as gentle, supportive, and tactful as humanly possible, she sat him down on the sofa and said, “Honey, I’ve been thinking… maybe you should go to the doctor and ask for some of those little tablets that, you know… help you get an erection.”
Mark, feeling a brief flash of bruised ego but ultimately wanting to be a good, proactive husband, nodded solemnly.
He booked an appointment, went to the clinic the very next day, and had a long, thorough consultation with his GP about his “performance issues.”
Later that afternoon, Mark walked through the front door with a confident swagger. He tossed his keys in the bowl, reached into his jacket pocket, and slid a small orange prescription bottle across the kitchen island to Claire with a proud, satisfied smirk.
Claire smiled, feeling incredibly relieved that he had taken her advice so seriously and without an argument. She picked up the bottle, popped the child-proof cap, and turned it around to read the label.
Instantly, her smile vanished. Her eyes widened in sheer, unadulterated horror. She stared at the bottle, then looked up at Mark, her voice trembling with a mix of rage and absolute disbelief. “Mark… these are diet pills.”
Mark just shrugged, grabbed a beer from the fridge, and replied, “Well, the doctor said losing thirty pounds would do wonders for my blood flow and stamina. So, bottoms up!”
